Holidays are an especially fun time to work in the lodging industry. Lots of comings and goings of family and friends, everyone in bit more of a bouyant mood, like we’re all in on a shared adventure. Other times of year, staff is more of an observer of other people’s vacation, business travel, family milestones…we may help facilitate, but we’re not “in on it”…
Right now, we have parents with grown local children staying in the Inn and Lodge, we have grown children from away hosting local parents in a large, comfortable cottage, and we have multiple members of families staying in multiple units for a big family gathering nearby…It’s fun, it’s festive, and we love being a part of it!
